FERIDA – next ‘Bond Girl’? By Mohideen Basha Actress Ferida Pinto is in the group of actresses contesting to be the next Bond Girl. Slum dog Millionaire propelled her to Hollywood fame. The Sun.co.uk reported that the actress was called to a screen test for the next spy venture. Producers actually first speckled to 24-year old actress during the casting for the Quantum of Solace – the 22nd Bond film released last year. Freida the former Mumbai Model- caught the attention of the Bond team when they were casting for Quantum of Solace. She was too young at the time to play the part of a love interest for the secret agent. But, she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Graig’s arm. The Chances of the actress anticipation in the film seems strong as executive producer of the film Barbara Broccoli is a favorite to take the helm of the next movie which would increase Freida’s chance of a starring role. If Freida is lucky enough bag the Bond Girl role, it would be her next international project after the Woody Allen movie that she has already been signed on for.
