Homoeo Cure For Swine Flu

Homoeopathy specialists claim to have an answer to swine flu pandemic – a safer, cheaper, substitute to allopathic drug of choice, Tamiflu. Even as the vaccine against the A (H1N1) virus is 6 to 7 months away, using Tamiflu as a defensive measure is not a good idea as it could lead to drug-resistant strains of the virus. Even as the Tami Nadu (India) Government has geared up for a swine flu pandemic and is stocking up on Tamiflu tablets, Roche, the manufacturers of the restricted drug, do not advise using it in pregnant women, and those who are nursing.
Gelsemium and Bryonia were the two homoeopathic remedies that established to be effective against the H1N1 flu epidemic in Spain in 1918. The mortality rate of swine flu patients treated with the allopathic medicine available back then was 30 percent, related to 1 percent of those given homoeopathy medicine. In the late nineties, a different homeopathy drug, Oscillococcinum, was used by French and German scientists to manage another H1N1 flu epidemic. Reviewed studies showed that the drug was very effective and flu symptoms disappeared in just 48 hours. The Governments could use the homoeopahy remedy, Influenzinum, to avoid infection – the medicine builds immunity against the specific virus as well as general immunity – and it is very affordable at very lower cost.
